Acoustical Louvers

Acoustical louvers are multi-purpose that can be used to permit the

flow of air while providing excellent sound attenuation. Mineral wool

insulated blades and with varying louvers depths and different blade

styles provide to lower unwanted or escaping noise, as well as to

protect the environment from noise pollution. Airfoil blades are available

for application involving high velocity airflow while maintaining a lower

pressure drop.

Louvers shall be designed to withstand 25 lbs. per sq. ft. (120 mph)

inward or outward wind pressure @ I/270 deflection. Consult Air Flow

engineers for higher wind loadings.
