Penthouses & Vents Louvered penthouses are ruggedly constructed units that allow for the most efficient air movement over rooftop openings. Any of the drainable or non-drainable blades, adjustable louvers including acoustical louvers can be used and incorporated as penthouse. Standard construction with louver blades on all four sides with mitered corners for non-drainable and box corners for drainable blade style. Roofs are supplied with anti-condensation or with optional sound absorbing insulation. Penthouses and Vents shall be designed to withstand 25 lbs. per sq. ft. (120 mph) inward or outward wind pressure @ I/270 deflection. Consult Air Flow engineers for higher wind loadings.
